Things to consider before filling the Management Training Scheme (MTS) application 

Please read fully the 'Guidance for applicants' section before starting the online application and assessments.  

The online process is compatible with all major browser applications (e.g. Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari) however, it is important that you enable all cookies and turn off pop-up blockers before you start your application form and assessments.  

The application form contains two eligibility questions and five leadership competency-based questions. These are linked to the leadership capabilities that we are assessing throughout this process.  

You must first satisfy the eligibility criteria to complete the full application form and progress to the online assessments. Once you have successfully completed the application form, you will receive an email prompting you to complete the verbal and numerical reasoning assessments.  

Required questions within the online form are denoted with an asterisk (*). When you have answered the questions on a page, click the 'Continue' button to progress to the next page. At the end you will have the opportunity to review and edit your application. The 'Save and Exit' button saves your information as a draft to be completed later. Do not click ‘Submit Application’ until you are completely happy with your application, as you will be unable to edit your application once submitted.
